More about Venice Antique Pavilion Mall
Venice Pavilion Antiques is a historic landmark.
For a unique shopping experience, away from the crowds, take a short trip to the country. Shop back in time, at Venice Pavilion Antiques, a historic landmark in the town of Ross, Ohio. The first building on the site was a stay house and tavern, opening in 1817 in the center of Venice, a small town, along the Great Miami River.
The Venice Pavilion replaced the tavern in April of 1918 and quickly became the social center for the area. In the basement, locals scattered pins at three bowling lanes and tried their hands at billiards. A ground floor restaurant, with a beautiful soda bar and soda fountain, served the town’s people daily. The dance floor on the second floor became the gathering place for the community, hosting Saturday night live music. Performer such as the Carter Family, Tex Ritter, Justin Tibbs, and the Midwestern Hayride took the stage. The original architecture, tin ceilings, and oak bar still remain today as part of your shopping experience.
