Secretary Betsy DeVos addressed crowd

Friday, April 12, 2019 was a day for celebration at ButlerTech. Over 25 business partners offered students intent to hire contracts or Co-Op Internships. Special guest Betsy DeVos, the 11th United States Secretary of Education, addressed the students, parents, ButlerTech staff and honored guest. Her words encouraged students to continue lifelong learning as part of their career paths. Each student was welcomed to the stage, greeted by Secretary DeVos and others. A VIP reception was held after the signing ceremony in the manufacturing labs of ButerTech.

A Vision for workforce education training

ButlerTech began as a vision of D.Russel Lee in the 1970’s. His vision was to educate students for job ready and marketable skill sets. Today ButlerTech has five campuses and works with 11 school districts and over 18,000 students.
