Port Middletown Arts Festival
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – The sixth annual Port Middletown Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, September 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held at Governors Square in downtown Middletown, the event is complete with art, music, food, and fun.
This year’s event will feature numerous artists from the Cincinnati-Dayton area and will showcase 2D, 3D, and audible art. The festival was relocated to Governors Square to amplify the effect of the event, as it is located in the heart of Middletown’s renowned arts and entertainment district.
Some of the art at the event will be for display only, but plenty of local vendors, artisans and artists will come to sell their fine handcrafted items along Central Avenue, located between Maine Street and Verity Parkway.
Award-winning food trucks will provide food for the event, and Middletown’s nearby Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will allow adults to enjoy alcoholic beverages during the festival.
Chalk artists will demonstrate their artistic skills during the event, and children can get their faces painted. Many make-and-take activity stations will be scattered throughout the square, and professional musicians representing a diverse selection of genres will provide the day’s soundtrack.
