The Shamrock Shuffle: Half-way to St. Patrick’s Day

Scheduling of the Shamrock Shuffle is another sign that life is opening back up after the long Covid-19 shutdown. Although there is a twist to this years event: traditionally, the Shamrock shuffle was held on or near St. Patrick’s Day, but this year the event organizers are planning a date for half way to St Patty’s day! The 2021 event will be held on September 11, 2021.

“This year’s Shamrock Shuffle will include a special commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. 
The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty’s Shamrock Shuffle is a 5k Race and Community Block Party hosting 5000 attendees on The Square @ Union Centre in West Chester. Proceeds benefit local nonprofits through grants from the Foundation’s Community Grants Fund, as well as the many charity teams registered through the Shuffle Gives Back program. Each year the Shamrock Shuffle raises more than $100,000 through the generosity of our participants and event sponsors. The Shamrock Shuffle is a 15-year West Chester/Liberty tradition, bringing the community together for a common cause. “
