One of the most beautiful Butler County events of the spring is happening in Oxford this Saturday – Red Bricks and Roses Horse Drawn Carriage Parade. Enjoy a festival and the parade of decorated horses and carriages all around Oxford. The Oxford Visitor Bureau is expecting a large crowd so make sure to claim your spot on the parade route for the best view.
The parade begins at noon on Saturday.
Here are the roads on the route:
- Millett Hall
- Bishop Ave
- Right on Church St.
- Left on College Ave.
- Left on High St.
- Left on Tallawanda St.
- Return to Millett Hall
In addition to the parade, the Oxford Farmers Market will be open Uptown at 8am. The festival will begin at 10am featuring music, carriage rides, and family fun. At 2pm, the Miami University Equestrian Center will have Derby Day themed crafts and barn tours. There is a cost for some of the activities $3-$5.
