National Vietnam War Veterans Day
President Donald J. Trump signed the The Vietnam War Recognition Act of 2017. The law designates every March 29 as the National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
Honors Vietnam Veterans
The primary objective of the law is to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the Nation, with distinct recognition of former prisoners of war and families of those still listed as missing in action.
