Queen of Peace Parish Festival

St. Maximilian Kolbe Festival

The Saint Maximilian Kolbe Festival is the parish’s single largest annual fundraiser with proceeds going to reducing our building debt. We are always looking for new and creative ways to continue to make this the best festival in town! If you have suggestions for improvements, please let us know. Shandon Strawberry Festival
Where: Downtown Shandon – handicapped accessible, free parking nearby
When: Saturday, June 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Downtown
aCome out to the Shandon Strawberry Festival. Outdoor vendors and artists will have their booths open from 10:00 a.m. in the village and in the field by the Old Fire House – Vendor spots are still available. The local shops, in historic houses, will be open all day for antiques, country crafts, original art, pottery and furniture.
The 11th Annual Antique Tractor show exhibits will be behind the Old Fire House with a parade planned during the day. Other attractions include organ music in the community house and an opportunity to explore the old Welsh cemetery next to the community house. A quarter scale model train may be located on Cherry Street – weather permitting. Dinner will be served by the Congregational Church, from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Community House (site of the 1825 Welsh church). Home-made strawberry shortcake and ice cream will be available from 10:00 a.m. at the Community House.
Village Green Fine Art Fair
WHERE: Village Green Park – 301 Wessel Dr Fairfield, OH 45014

Come to Village Green Park to celebrate art in Butler County enjoy artists, food vendors and performers. Some of the finest artists from all over Southwest Ohio will gather to showcase and sell their work. Juried artists and artisans will exhibit two-dimensional art, photography, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, wood, metal and glass pieces throughout Village Green Park and inside the Community Arts Center.
Jungle Jim’s International Beer Fest

One of the biggest, baddest, and longest-running beer festivals in Cincinnati, Jungle Jim’s International Beer Festival will showcase hundreds of beers from more than 100 different breweries. Festival goers will find beers from all over the world, local and regional favorites, along with craft beers and hard ciders. This isn’t just a celebration of beer, but a celebration of beer culture, all with the might of Jungle Jim’s stellar Beer & Wine department behind it. Come for the beer and stay for the camaraderie, share your favorites or find some new ones. Let’s just have some fun!
Family Fun Karnival to Support Shaboom’s

Shabooms presents a family fun Karnival for the whole family to enjoy hosted by the daughters of Sgt. James C. Robinson. Come join us for a fun filled day full of bounce houses, games, Italian ice, hamburgers, hotdogs. All money raised will go to Shabooms.org to help give scholarships to students in need. Trenton Bicentennial Celebration

Celebrate the 200th anniversary of one of Butler County’s great towns, Trenton. The three-day celebration of Trenton’s birthday will take place at Trenton Community Park on Dell Drive. Carnival rides, games, food, live music, fireworks, balloon glow, crafts, historical displays, activities for all ages. Civil war era demonstrations by the 5th Ohio Light Artillery reenactment team including live cannon fire.
