Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park

Pyramid Hill is an outdoor museum focusing on monumental pieces of sculpture in an environment of meadows, forests, and various gardens. We also feature a 10,000 square foot Ancient Sculpture Museum displaying Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Etruscan sculpture thousands of years old. Mon – Fri 8am – 7pm | Sat & Sun 8am – 5pm.  On Wednesdays, during the summer they have fun kid activities.

Bonus museum – ANCIENT SCULPTURE MUSEUM – Open 12pm – 5pm Daily.  The park opened the Ancient Sculpture Museum in 2007, which houses a collection of Greek, Roman, Etruscan, and Egyptian sculptures dating to 1550 B.C. These pieces are in unique juxtaposition to the modern outdoor sculptures. Admission to the Ancient Sculpture Museum is included in park admission.

Soldiers, Sailors and Pioneers Monument
High Street
You have passed it 100 times, but have you ever stopped to look around. The Soldiers, Sailors and Pioneers Monument is one of the most recognizable spots in Hamilton. It was built by the people of Butler County to honor those who served and who sacrificed their lives in the service of our country. The monument also celebrates the men and women who first settled Butler County. There is great history down by the riverfront.

Miami Hamilton Conservatory

Miami Hamiton has a great Conservatory, full of beautiful and exotic plants open to the public. The 4,460 square feet conservatory is under glass and features unique architectural design elements. Free to visit. M: Closed. Tues-Fri: 9:00 am–1:00 pm. Sat: 10:00 am–2:00 pm. Sun: noon–4:00 pm

Butler County Historical Society

Dig into Butler County History at the Historical Society. Open 10 a.m.‐3 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.‐1 p.m. Saturday.

The Butler County Historical Society maintains the Benninghofen House as a museum, with the house and furnishings representing the lifestyle of a wealthy family during the Victorian Era. In addition to the house, the Society manages an archive that consists of many original and secondary materials relating to regional history. The archives are available to the public, with the assistance of a BCHS staff member.

Many artifacts relating to local, regional and national history are also in the care of the BCHS. These items are periodically put on display in the Benninghoven House, adjacent auditorium, and secure off-site locations.

Catch a ball game.  The Hamilton Joes are a collegiate summer baseball team that competes in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Check their website for the next home game and cheer on the Joes.

Some days, paintball is the answer. Cabin Creek Paintball is 35 acres of rolling wooded terrain that includes 9 Paintball Fields located 6 miles North of Hamilton, Ohio.  They have open play – Saturday 11:00 – 4:00, Sunday 12:00 – 4:00. Cost is $30 for gear rental and 500 pellets.

Municipal Brew Works

Visit one of Hamilton’s newest hot spots. This year old Brewery is making a name for itself with is fun atmosphere and delicious beer. Go in and try an Approachable Blonde or something hoppier like our Courageous IPA. Maybe throw a few games of corn hole or just hang out on our patio and grab some grub from one of our visiting food trucks.
