Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival

The 2017 Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival is officially presented by The Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival features a hot air balloon competition with up to 40 balloons. Come out to see sky divers, special shape balloons, firework displays, beautiful balloon glows and more! Visit the event website for an up-to-date schedule of events. Parking is available at Middletown Regional Airport with a shuttle to Smith Park.

PAWS-A-PALOOZA is an “Animal Awareness Event” sponsored by PAWS Animal Adoption Center. This Fun Family Event has Wiener dog races, animal contests, search and rescue demonstrations, dog swimming, games, raffles, food, pet friendly vendors, and more! There are also some fun Surprises and special appearances!! Try an obstacle course for your dog, and check out other activities for you and your pet all while raising awareness about animals!

Annual Antique and Classic Car Parade in Hamilton
WHEN: July 22, 2017 @ 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
WHERE: Downtown Hamilton.
A Presentation of the Antique and Classic Car Club of Butler County. Parade starts in downtown Hamilton Ohio. Show Car Check in will be at the Presbyterian Church of Hamilton’s parking lot. 23 S. Front Street, Hamilton Ohio 45011. Entrance to church parking lot is on Court street behind the church. There will be signs downtown directing you where the show car check-in entrance is

Parade car check-in will be begin at 8:30 a.m. All Parade participants will receive Commemorative Plaques. Over 300 parade cars are expected. Judging will take place between 9:30 and 11:30.

The parade to Fairfield will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. The Fairfield stop will be at Fairfield Crossings, Rt-4 and Symmes Rd. The parade will then proceed to Downtown Hamilton at 2:30. Presentation of awards will begin at 3:30. Public viewing of cars at all three locations is free to the public, and restrooms will be available.

COST: $8.00
Today the Butler County Agricultural Society and its annual fair remain excellent examples of the strength of agriculture in southwestern Ohio. Every year, the fair continues to expand and prosper, even today with another new building. Attendance for recent fairs has ranged between 90,000 and 100,000 people for the weeklong event. Butler County has a Junior Fair program with more than 1,400 members, which is important to the fair’s success.
