Celebration Planned by Downtown Businesses to Thank Community for Support During Pandemic
By: Jeff Gambrell
HAMILTON – Customer Appreciation Night is set to kick-off the evening of Wednesday, June 2nd in Downtown Hamilton. A number of local businesses plan to participate by offering food/beverage specials and hosting live entertainment.
Brad Baker, owner of Pinball Garage, says this event is about thanking everyone for the support they gave during the last year. “The past year has been incredibly difficult, especially for those in the restaurant, bar and hospitality businesses”, stated Baker. “The city and the people of Hamilton came together to help support us in the toughest time that most of us have ever seen in business. We just want this to be our way of saying thanks to the community and to celebrate everyone’s hard work at staying in business and keeping safe”.
Baker opened Pinball Garage during the height of the COVID-19 restrictions but had faith in his community that everything would turn out ok. His faith paid off as he recently submitted plans for an expansion in the back of his building that would offer even more space for pinball/arcade machines along with an additional bar. The hope is that Wednesday’s celebration will be just the start of more great things to come for Hamilton.
