Looking for something fun and family-friendly to do in Butler County this summer? Alive After 5 is a monthly shop hop in downtown Hamilton! This month’s theme was “Wild Wild West”.

On the first Thursday of every month the local businesses in downtown Hamilton, stay open longer and host special activities for kids. There is also a costume contest relating to the theme each month.

Each booth outside had a wild west themed craft or activity for kids!
Fort Hamilton Hospital’s booth had “true or false” questions about the wild west and handed out cowboy trail mix!

The Lane Library bookmobile was open to the public and handed out free fake mustaches!

The Fitton Center Booth teaching kids how to make a bolo tie!

Alive After 5’s Mission statement:
“To foster a sense of community in Hamilton by bringing friends and family downtown to enjoy local shopping, dining, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. There are many new businesses downtown and Alive After 5 aims to bring awareness to them.
