The Ross Ohio United Dairy Farmers new location breaks a 38-year-old Ice Cream sales record!

In 1940 the Lindner family built the very first cash and carry dairy and ice cream store. Fast forward to 2019 they now have nearly 200 locations serving communities Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. The Lindner family attended the Ross Ohio store grand opening posing for photos and greeting the guest. Many local dignitaries and residents attended the event. Special prices and free coffee were part of the special day.

The new location is an economic driver for Ross Ohio employing 36 people to work the store. 16 of the 36 are high school students.

“I am impressed with the quality of the work force in Ross” said Bill Bales, UDF Zone manager. He went on to say “The Ross Ohio store opened with the highest ice cream sales for any grand opening in 38 years. People really enjoy the quality of the ice cream and the friendly store staff.”
