Members will gain access to free information, talk to experienced heart health experts and participate in fun-filled activities. As a new member, you will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with valuable information and resources.”

Why: Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women in the United States and more women than men have died from heart disease every year since 1984. Moreover, 48 million American women are currently living with some form of cardiovascular disease.

WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease offers a range of support services to help women heart disease survivors live healthier lives. WomenHeart Champions, like Lynne, understand the fear and isolation that often comes with a diagnosis of heart disease. WomenHeart also knows that emotional and peer support is vitally important to a woman’s recovery. Through the WomenHeart of Butler County support program and services, women form a special bond and can freely share information and stories of hope and survival.
