Join the West Chester Symphony Orchestra for some spooky Halloween musical favorites at the historic Muhlhauser Barn in the heart of West Chester. There will also be a costume contest for the kids who attend with prizes for the cutest, scariest, and funniest! Light refreshments served during the concert.
Hocus Pocus Halloween is back and better than ever! Join us during the daylight for a family friendly fall festival on Main Street for the kiddos. Kick-off the night with our delightfully spooky adults-only dance! More details to come as we get closer to the big day, but go ahead and add the date to your spell book. Saturday, October 28th!
The West Chester Farmers Market is in it’s 13th year. The market has local farmers selling produce, beef, pork and poultry that is all grown naturally on family farms.
In addition to the farmers there are a number of local home producers with hand crafted foods and snack items for your family to enjoy. There are also home made craft and jewelry items.
All items offered at the market are of high quality and priced with families in mind.
Alive After 5 is a monthly shop hop in Downtown Hamilton that highlights our eclectic community of small businesses and features delicious food and live music. Each month has a theme with different activities. Events take place in the downtown area from 5-9pm, when businesses on either side of High Street stay open later than usual. All events are kid-friendly and usually have a craft or activity for kids. Dress up, bring a friend, and join us the first Thursday of every month to experience this beautiful city and see what our unique shops have to offer!

JULY FIRST FRIDAY: FERRET FEST!
Few know that in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s Middletown, Ohio was the ferret capital of the Midwest. Yes, we are serious! The land that is now Hook Field Airport was once the home of the Farnsworth Ferret Farm. The flood of 1913 ended the rein of the ferret here in Middletown, but 2017 is the year we bring our furry friends back to town! Join us for the first annual FERRET FEST here in downtown Middletown.
This First Friday we will launch our “Finding Ferret” downtown challenge. A scavenger hunt & walking tour to find the hidden ferrets around Middletown. They could be hidden on the side of buildings, inside businesses, ferrets will be EVERYWHERE. First Friday will be a festival to honor our weird and wonderful history of ferret farms and more, so find the registration booth in Governor’s Square to get your map and begin the hunt! #ferretsforever
AUGUST FIRST FRIDAY: BIKE THE BLOCK
Get those bikes out of the basement and join us in downtown Middletown for the first annual Bike the Block!
