After completing the Butler County Donut Trail, Tyler Carach, “The Donut Boy” collected donuts from each stop on the trail to personally deliver to the Sheriff’s department in Hamilton, Ohio.

“I donut need a reason to thank a Cop” started in August 2016, when Tyler Carach used his allowance money to purchase donuts for a few officers at a local grocery store to thank them for their service. Since then, “The Donut Boy” has traveled to 28 states delivering over 60,000 donuts and coffee to hundreds of law enforcement. On National donut day, June 1st, 2018. Starting at 5 am, Tyler took to the Butler County Donut trail, along the way he collected 2 dozen donuts from each stop to personally deliver to Sheriff Jones this afternoon.

Sheriff Jones deputized Tyler Carach the newest Butler County Junior Deputy and read a proclamation making June 1, 2018, Tyler “The Donut Boy” Carach day in Butler County. 

 

Sara Carruthers presented Tyler with a gift bag full of Butler County surprises. When asked about Tyler, Sara Carruthers stated, ” Tyler is an extraordinary young man.” Many local law enforcement agencies were represented at this event.
