The temperature rose to more than 50 degrees in Butler County, Thursday, signs of spring and a hopeful future are on the horizon. This good weather comes at a time when Christians are beginning to celebrate and to fast in acknowledgment of the Lent season. Here are a few places where you can grab a few tender pieces of freshly fried fish at these fish fry’s this Lent.

Lent comes from a story in a tough part of the Bible where Jesus remains in the wild for 40 days while abstaining from the temptations of Satan.  In practice, it is used as a time for fasting and to prepare for Good Friday this March 30th and Easter on April 1st, 2018.
