Alive After 5 in Downtown Hamilton

This months theme is Alive After Five Gives Back: Heros.
Alive After 5 is a monthly shop hop in Downtown Hamilton that highlights our eclectic community of small businesses and features delicious food and live music. Each month has a theme with different activities. Events take place in the downtown area from 5-9pm, when businesses on either side of High Street stay open later than usual. All events are kid-friendly and usually have a craft or activity for kids. Dress up, bring a friend, and join us the first Thursday of every month to experience this beautiful city and see what our unique shops have to offer!

September First (now Second!) Friday: Dog Day Downtown

Rescheduled due to rain. Downtown Middletown is going to the dogs, again! Join us in downtown Middletown for the Third Annual First Friday: Dog Day Downtown! An evening all about you and your best friend! Bring your BFFFF’s to downtown Middletown to enjoy loads of free treats, free vaccinations, $20 Microchipping, explore multiple animal rescues and more!

Check-in with us at Governors Square (corner of Central Ave & Broad St) to grab your Doggie Bag and guide for the evening. From there, you can collect free dog treats and goodies from local businesses downtown.

Join us the First Friday of every month when your downtown Middletown neighborhood businesses, boutiques, eateries, & galleries keep their doors open late, just for you! Explore all the new faces and places downtown, visit with your neighbors, and have a great time! The fun is from 5-9 p.m., we hope to see you here in downtown Middletown!

Oxford Community Arts Center – 2nd Friday

Second Friday, sponsored by The Elms, is Oxford’s monthly celebration of the arts, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on the second Friday of each month (except January & July).

Each month, this free event includes new and exciting concerts by local musicians, sponsored by Sally and Jack Southard; and exhibitions opening with an artists’ reception.

Open Artist Studios on the 3rd floor and the Art Shop on the 1st floor give guests the opportunity to view creative art spaces, as well as purchase one-of-a-kind artwork directly from the artists.

Lakota East High School – 20th Anniversary Celebration

On September 2, 1997 Lakota East High School held classes for the first time. Join us to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Lakota East High School on Friday, September 8th. The evening will culminate with a Rozzi’s Fireworks Display at the conclusion of the football game.
