Blues and BBQ in Fairfield

This music series at Huffman Park features the combination of great local musicians along with the smells and tastes of Hammann’s Catering. Bring your chairs and blankets and relax to the music or explore nature throughout the park while the sounds blues music fills the air. This month’s performer is Better Together.

 

Hamilton Flea

2017 Electric Dayton Music Festival

This July 14th and 15th a new Electronic Dayton Music Festival will be held in Middletown, OH at Land of Illusion. The festival will feature 23+ international, national, and regional DJ’s performing on 2 stages. Each stage will be connected through live social media streaming. In addition to just music, there will be an interactive vendor area where attendees can be creative and share images or videos at the festival with various organizations offering decorative art, banners, body art, and specialty clothing.

 

Crazy Carboard Regatta

The MetroParks of Butler County presents the 8th Annual Crazy Cardboard Regatta on Saturday, July 15th from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM at the Voice of America Park in West Chester! Do you think you’ve got what it takes? Then, sign your team up to build your own cardboard boat and join the amazing race around the lake! Sea legs aren’t quite ready; you say? No problem! Vendors, entertainment, activities, and more await you upon shore. So, come on out for some summer family fun, and don’t forget to keep calm and boat on!

 

 

Blues, Brews and BBQ at Pyramid Hill

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum started the Blues, Brews & BBQ festival in 2016. The festival features live blues bands selected by The Cincy Blues Society, a variety of BBQ vendors and craft beer tastings selected by Cavalier Distributing. Current BBQ vendors include Sweets & Meats BBQ, Neal’s Famous BBQ, Wicked Hickory and Remi Js Barbecue Food Truck. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 – 12. BBQ and Beverages available for individual purchase.

The 2017 Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival is officially presented by Selection.com The Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival features a hot air balloon competition with up to 40 balloons. Paws-a Palooza

Butler County Fair

Today the Butler County Agricultural Society and its annual fair remain excellent examples of the strength of agriculture in southwestern Ohio. Every year, the fair continues to expand and prosper, even today with another new building. Attendance for recent fairs has ranged between 90,000 and 100,000 people for the weeklong event. Butler County has a Junior Fair program with more than 1,400 members, which is important to the fair’s success.
